Oktoberfest

Let’s all get together to celebrate Oktoberfest. Where? at the Gasthaus restaurant in Peachland for a spectacular lunch. Choose from one of the following selections at the restaurant or go Al-a-carte (Al-a carte will be slower to get to your table). This event is limited to 50 people.
Option 1 $50/person including the following:
- 1st course. Guests choice of either house salad in a champagne vinaigrette or Caesar salad.
- 2nd course..10oz. Grilled ribeye that is slow roasted prior to being grilled for service. Comes with mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, jus, horseradish and the biggest Yorkshire pudding you’ve ever seen!!!
- 3rd course ..sticky toffee pudding, served warm with the freshly made creme anglaise, whipped cream and topped with an in house made butter ripple schnapps carmel sauce.
Option 2 $60/person is the Medieval Feast
- 1st course..a homemade soup and rustic fresh baked bread which we serve to every table.
- 2nd course..our chefs bring out a cast iron pan loaded up with schnitzel, Nuremberg bratwurst, baked ham, roasted chicken, bbq ribs, pork hock, roasted potatoes, spatzle, braised red cabbage and sauerkraut along with our pork reduction gravy. Each guest comes up to the serving station with their stainless steel plate and we serve them what items they want. After everyone is served, we leave the cast iron pan for guests to help themselves to seconds or thirds, etc. The Medieval Feast is an all you can eat offering. ( You are also allowed to box up the leftovers in takeout containers before we clear the 2nd course away).
- 3rd course.. after we reset the tables for dessert service, we bring out homemade apple fritters accompanied with a freshly made creme anglaise and whipped cream, served to the guests.
