Porsche Escape 2021

Last weekend Canada West, BC Interior Region and Vancouver Island Region all participated in a terrific event up at Sun Peaks Resort, outside of Kamloops!
40 cars participated in this sold out event. There were banquets, a show and shine, People’s Choice and Best of Show, a challenging tech quiz and a Hawaiian theme night. Did we mention the fabulous prizes…? There was also time to relax by the pool or take the chair lift up to the top of the mountain and hike among the colourful wildflowers.
The weekend drives and windup gala banquet were unfortunately cancelled due to a nearby forest fire. A big thank you to all of the organizers, volunteers and sponsors!! Looking forward to next year… 😎

BC Interior Region Gives Back!

At BCIR, we believe in helping our communities. Last year, one of our charities was The Foundry Kelowna. It is a wellness centre where young people can find hope, help and support when they need it.

Through a silent auction, fundraisers and generous donations from our members, we raised $14,645.66.

Shown: President of BCIR – Brad Pape, Shari Slattery from The Foundry,
VP of BCIR – Manuel Zerwes.

BC Interior Region Wins Big!

BCIR was honoured to win the 2017 Greatest Factored Growth award at the national PCA Parade event held in Spokane Washington. It was awarded to the club that added the greatest percentage of members in a calendar year. Out of the 144 local regions across US and Canada, BCIR was first.
Brad Pape, president of BCIR, accepted the award on behalf of the club.
