The end location for the Scavenger Hunt was at Bertram Park overlooking the lake. There were cold refreshments and goodies as everyone laughed about their adventure. The Hunt finished in a three way tie for 1st place and then determined by the kms they drove. There was also a “Nice Try” prize which was an orange cone, magnifying glass and a map

Thank you to the 19 Porsches that participated despite the 40+ degree temperatures. Cars slowly made their way around East Kelowna looking for clues and answering questions. The Hunt was a first for many members and judging by the smiles, they had a great time! As well as being a fun car event, it was also a fundraiser for BCIR’s charity The Food Bank.

Good fun with good people. 13 cars started off from Green Mountain Road down to Keremeous to Bromley Rock Park for a picnic lunch. Onward to Princeton then Aspen Grove and home. Amazing roads with spectacular views!

Sunday’s Cars and Coffee was well attended with a nice variety of cars, 13 in total. It was great to meet everyone again and the weather was great for our drive. Nine of the thirteen cars joined us for the drive. Considering there were some Sunday drivers out everyone seemed to enjoy the drive through some scenic twisty roads. And then a great lunch at Mason Kitchen and Bar. Hopefully those that were unable to attend will be able to make it next month on July 11

Last night was BCIR’s Annual General Meeting and New Members Dinner at Two Eagles Golf Course in West Kelowna. Despite being a little chilly, the members were treated to an excellent meal and lots of real great door prizes.
A big thank you to Manuel, Sabine, Luc and Paula for making the evening such a success!
